Troubleshooting

• WordPress says 401 with the right password: your host strips the Authorization header (Apache without CGIPassAuth). Ask them to let it through.
• Notion doesn’t show my database: open the database in Notion → ••• → Connections and add your connection; check it has read, update and insert capabilities.
• Wix: “the connection link expired or was opened in another browser”: start again from Settings → CMS & publishing → Wix and open the app from your Wix dashboard in the same browser within 30 minutes.
• Webhook not saved: the URL must be public https and answer the signed test (ping) with a 2xx within 10 seconds.
• Shopify rejects the token: the custom app needs the write_content scope and must be installed in the store.

• The dashboard is empty: without a plan we can’t ask the AI tools (each answer has a cost). Choose a plan or start the trial.
• The first check failed: we retry automatically with the next weekly check; you can also run it again from the Dashboard.
• My brand isn’t counted: check the brand name and add the other names AI uses for you in Competitors → Your brand.

• Check installation finds nothing: make sure the site is published (on Framer and Webflow the script only runs on the published site), open a page in another tab and check again.
• Fewer visits than expected: clicks from Google AI Overviews and AI Mode count as Google, and some apps don’t send a referrer. Figures are a minimum.
• Search Console or GA4 can’t be connected: your Google account needs access to the property; Google Analytics can only be connected by admins of the site in Citable.

• “Outside this month’s quota”: those ideas don’t fit in the articles you have left this month. Add more articles or they wait for next month.
• An article didn’t publish on its own: verification flagged something, the site is set to Drafts only, it’s one of the first 3 (calibration) or automatic publishing is paused.
• Automatic publishing paused itself: your CMS rejected a publication (check the connection) or two articles were unpublished in 30 days. Resume it in Settings → CMS & publishing.
• Can’t unpublish from Citable: on WordPress, Shopify, Ghost and Wix, switch it to draft or hide it in your CMS.
