Know whether AI recommends you, answer by answer.
Every week Citable asks your buyers’ questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google’s AI (depending on your plan), reads every answer and tells you how often you’re named and linked. With an honest range, never a made-up position.

The share of answers that name your brand and the share that link to your site, per AI tool and per period. Every rate comes with its 90% range, and the change is only called “up” or “down” when it’s bigger than the normal swing between runs.
- Mentioned and cited, per AI tool and period
- A 90% range on every rate
- “Up”, “down” or “no clear change yet”: never a ranking position
Your buyers’ questions, in every AI tool.
You choose the questions your buyers ask, each with its own language and country. Your brand never goes in the question: that would only measure whether AI repeats it back. Each question is asked several times per AI tool every week, because the same question gets different answers.
- Questions per site: 15 on Starter, 30 on Growth and 60 on Business
- 3 answers per question and AI tool every week (on Claude, 1, because each answer runs a web search)
- Suggested questions you don’t track yet, added in one click
- Results by question type: discovery, comparison, alternatives, price, problem
Every number opens the answers behind it.
Click any cell and read the answer exactly as the AI tool wrote it, with your brand and your competitors highlighted and the sources it cited, numbered. Each source is labelled as your site, a competitor or a third party, so you see which pages AI trusts for each question.
- Every sample, every AI tool, every week
- Direct mentions (named) and indirect ones (only linked)
- Most-cited sources and brands, sortable
Catch what AI gets wrong about you.
Fill in the facts only you can confirm: what you do, prices, area, opening hours, the year you started, what you don’t do. Citable checks them against what the AI tools claim and shows each claim word for word, with the AI tool and the question where it appeared. It also shows how AI describes you and your competitors, topic by topic.
- Claims checked against your brand facts
- The literal quote, with the answer one click away
- How AI describes you next to your competitors
The illustrations use example data from a fictional studio, Studio Norte.
A single check tells you very little.
AI answers are not a list of ten blue links. They change between runs, between tools and between countries, so measuring them takes repetition and honesty.
Answers vary
Ask the same thing twice and you can get two different lists. That’s why every question is asked several times a week and every rate carries its range.
Named is not linked
Being named builds awareness; being linked brings visits. Citable counts both separately so you know which one you’re missing.
The gaps tell you what to write
The questions where competitors are recommended and you aren’t are exactly the topics to cover next. Citable turns them into article ideas.
Three steps, then it runs every week.
- 1
Add your site
We read your site, guess your country and suggest competitors and questions. You keep, change or add your own.
- 2
Choose your questions
Each question has its language and country. Add the ones your buyers ask before they choose a supplier.
- 3

We ask every question to every AI tool on your plan and send you a summary on Monday with what moved.

Questions about this feature
What people ask before they start. If something’s missing, write to us.
Write to usWhich AI tools does Citable measure?
ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, AI Mode and Perplexity on every plan; Business adds Claude. Grok is an add-on for any plan, asked once a week per question in your main country. The three Google surfaces are measured separately.
Why don’t you show my position in the answer?
Because it isn’t stable. The order of a list in an AI answer changes from one run to the next, so a “position 3” would be noise presented as fact. We report the share of answers that name you and the share that link to you, with a 90% range.
Do you measure the answers a logged-in user sees?
No. Personalised answers depend on each person’s history and can’t be measured from outside. We measure the answer a new user gets for each question, language and country.
Can I include my brand name in the questions?
We recommend not to, and suggested questions never include it. A question that names you only tells you whether AI repeats your name back; the useful ones are those your buyers ask before they know you.
How long until I see results?
The first measurement runs as soon as your trial or plan starts, without waiting for Monday, and appears in the dashboard when it’s done. Changes over time need several weeks of data before they can be told apart from noise.
