Get onto the pages AI already trusts.
AI tools often answer by quoting lists, reviews, forums and directories. Citable finds the ones cited for your questions that name your competitors and not you, and helps you get onto them honestly.

From every weekly check, Citable collects the pages of other sites that AI cites for your questions and that name a competitor. Each one shows which AI tools cite it, how many times, which competitors it names and what kind of page it is: a list or blog, a review platform, a directory, a community, a video or the press.
- Sorted by how often AI cites them
- Which competitors each page names
- A board by status: new, contacted, replied, won
Steps for each page, and drafts you send yourself.
Each type of page has its own honest route: offer something useful to the author of a list, complete your profile and ask real clients for reviews, answer in a community and say who you are. Citable writes an outreach draft you can edit, finds the contact address and opens it in your Gmail or Outlook. It never publishes anything for you.
- Outreach drafts a month: 20 on Starter, 50 on Growth and 100 on Business
- Steps adapted to each type of page
- A hand-picked list of legitimate directories
Approve each email; it goes out from your own inbox.
Group the pages AI cites into a campaign. For each one Citable reads the page to find the author or editor and their role, the publication, when it was last updated, a work email and the LinkedIn profile if the page links to it, proposes the best angle and drafts a personal email. You review and approve every message (one by one or all the reviewed ones) and it goes out from your connected Gmail or Outlook, a few at a time within working hours. Follow-ups are drafted for threads without a reply and for people who agreed to add you but haven't updated the page yet, and also need your approval. When the author has a LinkedIn profile (linked from the page or pasted by you), Citable also drafts an invitation note of up to 300 characters and a short message; you approve them and choose who sends them: you, with the note ready to paste (included); Citable from your own LinkedIn account, with daily and weekly limits and within working hours (Automatic LinkedIn add-on, per account); or your own HeyReach account. Their status comes back to the campaign, and a reply on LinkedIn withdraws the email follow-up. We warn you that automating LinkedIn can go against its terms. You can also turn a published article or a visibility figure into a post on your profile (official LinkedIn API, after you approve it) and get a transparent comment drafted for the threads AI cites, which you post yourself.
- Gmail with send-only access; Outlook also detects replies (only that there was one)
- At most 20 emails a day per inbox, spaced out, Monday to Friday
- No attachments and no tracking pixels; a do-not-contact list (also by LinkedIn profile) and no repeat contact within 90 days
- LinkedIn assisted (included), automatic from your account or through your HeyReach; results by channel: sent, accepted and replied
Sites that link to several competitors, but not to you.
A weekly cross-check of the sites that link to two or more of your competitors and not to your site. They’re added to the same board as a separate type, so you can approach them the same honest way.
- Sites that link to your competitors and not to you
- Ranked by the strength of the linking site
- Detected when one of them starts linking to you
When a page starts naming you, it’s marked as won.
After each weekly check, Citable reads again the pages you’re working on. If one now names your brand or links to your site, it moves to “Won” on its own and its effect on your citations is measured like any other action. A page that already named you the first time it was read isn’t counted as a win: nobody did anything.
- Re-read after every weekly check
- Counts your name, your aliases and links to your domain
- Respects each site’s robots.txt

AI repeats what other sites say about you.
When AI recommends a brand, it often leans on lists, reviews and communities written by others. Being on those pages is as important as your own content.
The cited pages are visible
You don’t have to guess which sites matter: they’re the ones AI quotes for your questions, every week.
No shortcuts that backfire
No paid links, link exchanges, blog networks or fake reviews. They break Google’s spam policies and put your site at risk.
Effort that’s measured
When a page names you, Citable measures whether your citations change afterwards, with the same honest range as the rest.
Three steps, then it runs every week.
- 1
Measure your questions
The weekly check records every page AI cites and which brands it names.
- 2
Pick the pages worth it
Start with the ones cited most often that name your competitors.
- 3
Work them and let them close
Follow the steps, approve the emails and leave the rest: Citable marks them as won when you appear.
- Outreach drafts a month, per site
- Starter: 20
- Growth: 50
- Business: 100

Questions about this feature
What people ask before they start. If something’s missing, write to us.
Write to usDoes Citable build links for me?
No. It finds the pages AI cites, explains how to get onto each one and writes emails you review and approve. No paid links, link exchanges, networks or automated placements.
Does Citable send emails without me?
Never. If you connect your inbox, only the emails you approve go out, from your own address, with a daily cap and within working hours. On Gmail Citable can only send, not read your email; on Outlook it also checks whether a thread got a reply, without reading its content. You can disconnect it at any time.
Does Citable automate LinkedIn?
Only if you want it to, and only what you approve. By default it's assisted: Citable prepares the note and the message and you send them with one click to copy and open the profile. With the Automatic LinkedIn add-on, you connect your account (we never see your password) and Citable sends what you approve and launch, slowly and within limits; or you can use your own HeyReach account. We warn you that automating LinkedIn can go against its terms and your account may be restricted. Posts on your profile use the official API after you approve them, and you post comments in threads yourself.
Which pages show up on the board?
Pages from other sites that AI cites for your questions and that name a competitor you track: lists and blogs, review platforms, directories, communities and forums, videos and the press.
How does an opportunity close on its own?
After each weekly check, the pages you’re working on are read again. If one now names your brand or one of your aliases, or links to your domain, it moves to “Won”. If it already named you the first time we read it, it’s flagged so you decide.
When will “Links to your competitors” be available?
It’s built and being switched on. When it’s live, those sites will appear on the same board as their own type.
